1959 Edsel Corsair 4 Door Sedan
What I hope mine looks like when finished, color-wise (Pictured is a Ranger 2 door hardtop).
I bought this car in February from a friend. It has a 361 V8; power steering; and factory air conditioning. Not many Edsels were made, so most people have never seen one (or even heard of it). As you can tell in the picture, the car has a solid body but needs paint. It also needs seat upholstery and carpet, but the rest of the interior is good.
The engine needs to be rebuilt and the brake system needs to be overhauled. I'll probably get the transmission serviced too - the car has sat for 15 years.
I will not be able to start this project until I finish the '68 Galaxie 500 later this Spring.
