What are Cam O Matic wipers ??

Hey all,

What are Cam O Matic wipers on a 58 Buick ? how are they different to normal wipers ? how do I check if my car has it or not ? My car is a restoration project which I hope to start very soon so nothing can be operated at the moment

If My car doesn't have them, can I still install Cam O Matic wiper transmissions ? would my car then have that feature ?

(I hope to convert the drive for the wiper to electric too)
