transmission wanted

Hi ..I am looking for a Dynaflow Flightpitch transmission for my 58 Buick Century..anyone have one for sale or know of someone who does?

Did your Century have the Flight-pitch originally or are you upgrading? To convert to a flight pitch, you will also need a different shift indicator on the dash, a different mounting cross brace, and I've been told the torque tubes are different.

Yes it definitely is different..apparently the Dynaflow that isnt a Flight pitch would require a lot of modification in order to be used. This is why I have been looking for the Flight pitch, because that is what came out of it, and when they took it out to work on it they cracked something on it..hence the hunt for a new one.

Contact Lamar Wilkins. He is one of the few who can rebuild Flight-pitch dynaflows, and he might have one for sale. See this thread for more info:
