I don't get automatic emails

Since we switched to this new forum, I no longer get an automatic email when these are any new posts to this site.
I can't find any changable settings to make this happen.
Anyone have a suggestion?

You only get automatic e-mails to responses in topics that you post in or start (and sometimes this doesn't even work). You will not get an e-mail everytime someone posts a new topic or replies in a topic that you are not participating in. Unfortunately, the software is not designed to notify everyone about every single post.

I am a member of a couple of forums that use this software. It is good and basically spam proof and hacker free, but the e-mail notification system doesn't always function correctly.

Thanks for the reply. I now understand. I guess I am used to our old Yahoo forum where I always got a notifiction.
Does it seem that there is not as much activity since we moved?

Although we had some pretty dry spells on Yahoo, it does seem to be slower on the new forum.
