hey guys, i am new to the Forum. i think most of you feel the same way, 58 buicks are harrrd to find info on. so i came to the source! anyway, here is my 58 buick special project. i bought it maybe 5 years ago, but then i moved to europe and havnt een able to do much on it.now i am ready to get some progress moving. so want to show where i am. The car was shavhed and chopped and i am not sure if i like that, so the shell maybe up forsale if cannot find a suitable rook and windhsheild to raise it back up.
The frame has been subframed, fourlinked and bagged. so has disc, bags, and late model rear. please give as many comments and idea as you guys can!

here is how i found the car 5years ago.missing a few pieces, but since the car came from new mexico zero rust at all. have some wave marks tha need straigtening but the biggest issue is the roof. i am 6'8, and the roof was chopped 4 inches, hence my delema!

here are some close ups of the chop. it was done by some reputable guys in the Albuquerque metro. the problem for me is that i am very tall, so i would like to have all teh inches i can. if anyone has a special parts car with windshield i would very interested in talking with you. if anyone knows of one in the denver albuqerque, el paso , amarilo area, please message me!
