Cut Pile or Loop Carpet?
I see they offer it both ways. Anyone know what the correct style is for a Limited? I've always seen loop carpet on all the original cars, but I'm unfamiliar with the 50's cars.

Re: Cut Pile or Loop Carpet?
I e-mailed a friend about this today, here is his reply:
From Air Poise:
CUT PILE only was used on the 1958 Limited. I've never found any source for replica pile. Its the same carpeting used in the 1976 Cadillacs, and early 80's Lincoln Town Cars. I would love to find some myself. I have some "modern" carpeting but its just not the same as the original.

Re: Cut Pile or Loop Carpet?
Just an FYI, SMS Auto Fabrics has the carpet I need for the Limited. I used it on the lower door panels and it looks great.
It's about double the price of other carpets I've ever bought, though. I can't believe the cost involved in the interior fabrics on this car.
